Today, no small reasonably priced system can detect clear air turbulence (vortex, wind shear, microbursts, gust fronts, turbulence, and crosswinds). Because of the tremendous danger these weather phenomena present, reasonably priced systems are in demand in the marketplace. In addition, current systems do not report the wind speed and direction at intervals as small as 100 feet. LaLuz is poised to capitalize on this opportunity.

The product will detect and report wind speed and direction in the critical final 2,000 feet of airliner and helicopter landing paths. The figure below illustrates this concept.
